Christmas design 2.

With this design I started with some gold

Sally Hansen "Gold Chrome" to be exact.

Then I put on some Sally Xtreme Wear "Set the Stage"

(just for fun...you will not see it in the finished design)

and grabbing my trusty DRK-C plate used Sally Hansen Insta-Dri in "Wined Up" #19

The Colors Of Christmas Fade & Stamping Nail Art

It is coming!.......Christmas!

The lights, food, smells, and as always the shopping.

I wanted to start the season off with some very simple designs.

Here is number 1.

 I started by doing a red and green gradient using

Sinful Colors "Hot Hot Heat" #1145 (red)

"Last Chance" #948 (green)

Then I wanted to stamp over it...but something that would not cover up the red and green 

fade to much... and believe it or not my boyfriend picked out the stamp...and choose 

very wisely if you ask me. 

 Stamped using DRK-C with Sally Insta-dri "Metallic Momentum"

Multi Chrome Stamping Nail Art

I love this design....but my camera is evil and it didn't pick up the colors 

the way it does in real life.

I used Sally Hansen Chrome in Pink, Blue, Gold & Purple

over black

and stamped using the Drik Plate C

Along with Red Angel, Shany has come out with their new 2013 stamping plate set, even though

some of the plates have repeat images from other collections by other companies. 

The designs are a whole lot better than Red Angels!

NEW RED ANGEL PLATES 2013.....I guess...

I was reading some other blogs and learned of some new plates out.....Red Angel is one of the company's

that has released its 2013 collection...

Now..before I give my thoughts on this set I will show

Now, the first Red Angel plates are one of those sets I love and had to have...there are a ton of 

great nail designs all over the web using them....

However....is it me or does it seem like they have thrown in the creative towel?

The first set was a hit because it was so different from other plate sets, and this set is different don't get me 

wrong, but not in a good way. Please be aware this is just my opinion and if you think I am wrong here feel free to tell me off, but I can tell you this is one set I wont be picking up anytime soon. Please let me know your thoughts on them, and if there is anything about them that inspires you.

6min Art, Using My New Bunny Plates

I had the new plates in my hands for 5min and had to stop everything and do some quick nail art...and I do mean quick..these took me about 6min each (it is the way I test my plates)so ignore the "non perfect" manicure and and scary cuticles.

I had clients waiting for me while I did these (I know..... I am evil)

but they know what I am like when the postman brings me new toys.

Hey Everyone

I saw the Sinful Colors Holiday display today at my Rite-Aid ($1.99 each)

an picked up the "new to me" ones...

so here they are.

 FACETED #1139

fine purple glitter w/ blue iridescent bar glitter in a clear base

 Here it is in 1, 2, and 3 coats.

Here it is over Black & White

As you can see the bar glitter does not really show

SUPER STAR #1138

super fine blue shimmer flecks with purple Med. sized glitter in a blue jelly base

NOVA  #1137

This is what the bottle looks like in real life....very dark.

when I saw it I thought it looked just like "What's Your Name #319"

until I swatch ed it...so I swatch ed them together

Left-1 coat, Middle-What's Your Name, Right 2 coats

the shimmer in both is the same but the NOVA base is a very dark blue jelly.

you can see the blue/purple/green shimmer a bit better here.

Left-WINTER WONDER #1142 & Right-DAZZLE #1133

WINTER WONDER a very very shimmery gray/blue with hits of silver, blue, green, gold and a bit of purple sparkle.

DAZZLE a bright shimmery raspberry/burgundy red with hints of gold

 AND

ICE DREAM #1140

fine silver glitter with Med. blue glitter

pretty much a dupe for

CHINA GLAZE LORELEI'S TIARA

B=over black, W=over white, the 1, 2, 3 coats

I love them all!
